Cam Fella, The Pacing Machine

Cam Fella, "The Pacing Machine" was twice voted Horse of the Year, in 1982 and 1983. A much loved champion, Cam Fella was inducted into both the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame, and the American Harness Racing Hall of Fame.

The Pacing Machine retired with earnings in excess of $2,000,000, the richest Standardbred in the history of the breed at the time of his retirement.

Cam Fella had a phenomenal influence on the bloodlines of the modern Standardbred.  He sired 13 crops of foals with earnings in excess of $100 million, including 14 millionaires and 4 winners of The Little Brown Jug.

     This limited edition print of Cam Fella is based on a photograph by Ed Keys taken on Cam Fella's farewell North American tour when he paced a 1/2 mile in 57 seconds at the age of 18 before admiring crowds at Delaware, Ohio.
